d'oh, that is in amazing condition. We have one that's totally beat to hell. Still works great, though, and the kid loves it. It really kicked in around 3, 3.5yo. congrats.

These are still available from school supply companies, of which carolina biological is one example. Search on 'magnifiers'...they're currently about $30.
